Dealers and customers continue feel the effects of the ongoing cyber attack on CDK Global. For some context, CDK is a very large dealership software that many auto dealers use to run nearly every aspect of their dealerships, from finance to sales to even the service department, all rely on this software. This outage has left about 15,000 dealers in the dark, scrambling to come up with analog solutions to operate. And it’s not just CDK, this has affected DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and CRM. Even on a wholesale level we are feeling the effects. The automotive industry is like one big high stakes domino effect.
