Attention suppliers in Denmark! From 1 January 2025, suppliers of games must have a licence from the Danish Gambling Authority to supply games to gambling operators with a Danish licence to offer betting and online casino. The Danish Gambling Authority accepts applications from the 1st of September 2024. Guidance material and new application forms are available. The Danish Gambling Authority requires that game suppliers' games, game platform, business procedures and business systems must be tested and inspected according to the Danish Gambling Authority's certification programme by an accredited testing company before games can be supplied to gambling operators. In the United States, there are plans to establish a unified legislative framework for legalizing online casinos by 2025. The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) represents states where #iGaming is already legalized. The council aims to create a foundational bill that will regulate key aspects of the gambling industry. Starting from August 1st, the proposed legislation will be open for public discussion for 30 days, and its final version will be presented in December of this year. NCLGS participants emphasize that iGaming generates significantly more revenue than #sportsbooks. However, due to various legal complexities, the legalization of iGaming in the US has been a slow process. The aforementioned bill is intended to address these challenges. Therefore, it is quite likely that in the next few years, we will see many more states where online #casinos are legalized

Attached is the final version of what we have called “ONLINE GAMBLING IN CHILE”, on which all of us who are part of the Online Gaming Platforms Association of Chile have been working during the last months.  In this document, you will find all the necessary contents to understand the situation of the online gaming industry in Chile and its regulation worldwide, the history of gaming regulation in Chile, the arguments for which we have long maintained that the operation is legal, as well as the relevant events that have occurred during these two years of processing of the regulation bill in Congress. It also develops the arguments under which we intend to modify some of its provisions, especially those related to blocking and punishment and the tax burden; today the main challenges we face in the regulation process. It is a document that intends (and allows) not only a quick look, but also takes charge with great depth, and develops at length, the main aspects of the industry in Chile in the last two years. We hope that it can contribute to disseminate ideas and arguments, as well as to provide the necessary context for an understanding of the industry that will help us to finally have the regulation that Chile deserves.
