Mark your calendars for October 10th at BI in Oslo! Personally, I’ll be giving a talk on Artificial Intelligence and moderating a panel debate on Robotics and AI at the French-Norwegian Day 2024. With so many fascinating individuals attending—many of whom I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet—and a program packed with engaging discussions, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable day. We’ll have everyone from current and former ministers, politicians and industry leaders to ambassadors, financiers, and the brilliant minds actually building AI models and products. And yes, there will be a few consultants in the mix (I suppose I straddle the line between “AI expert” and “the odd consultant”). With such diverse perspectives, it’s bound to be a day to remember. Think of the year 2500. Cars are flying. AI has taken over.   We have baches on Mars. Our model is designed so that we exist forever.   So, when we say, ‘we’re in it for the long haul’, we mean it. But being in it for the long-haul means remaining agile. It means taking opportunities to reflect so we can make sure we are fit for purpose and for the future. And it means taking a moment to determine where we are at and where we want to be. In late 2023, we did just that. We thought about the impact we want to see, the role we want to play in growing generosity and supporting our communities, and where we want to focus our attention. 🚀 Just wrapped up an exhilarating weekend at the Infineon Hackathon! 🌟 What an incredible journey it's been - from an enlightening bootcamp on day one to a thrilling hackathon on day two, all focused on the captivating topic of Hallucination Detection in Contextual Question Answering using AI and ML. 🧠💻 Day one's bootcamp was a fantastic opportunity to dive deep into the intricacies of the problem space, learn about the latest advancements in AI and ML, and connect with fellow enthusiasts and experts. It set the stage for an exciting exploration ahead! 🎓💡 Day two brought the real excitement as we delved headfirst into the hackathon challenge. Working alongside a talented team, we brainstormed, coded, and iterated tirelessly to develop innovative solutions to detect and prevent the spread of misinformation in AI-generated responses. 🛠️ The adrenaline was palpable as we raced against the clock, fueled by passion and determination. The challenges we faced were as diverse as they were invigorating, pushing us to think outside the box and leverage cutting-edge techniques to tackle this complex problem. From data preprocessing to model training and evaluation, every moment was a learning experience. 💡 I'm immensely proud of what our team accomplished in such a short timeframe. The collaborative spirit, creative thinking, and relentless drive were truly inspiring. 🌟 A huge shoutout to Infineon for organizing such an enriching and impactful event, and to all the participants for their dedication and camaraderie.
