Formula 1 in Las Vegas helped MGM Resorts, Moneygram Haas Formula 1 partner, to reach a new financial record in 2023 🙌 The reports after the Las Vegas Formula 1 race have been mixed, but we saw Liberty Media reach new financial heights in Q4 2023 and the casino/hotel/resort business in Las Vegas reports also very strong Q4 results. MGM Resorts, a Haas F1 partner, is no exception. MGM Las Vegas Strip Resorts reports net revenues of $2.4 billion in Q4 compared to $2.3 billion in 2022, partially due to Formula 1 and an increase in casino revenues. It is a new all-time high record. Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM Resorts: “Our premium positioning and offerings in Las Vegas enable us to capture incremental profit during major events such as the Formula 1 race and our first Super Bowl." Las Vegas Strip Resorts casino table games win reached $ 540 million in Q4, compared to $375 in 2022. A 44 % increase. Wonder how much the Formula 1 drivers spent 😀 📷 Photo: Moneygram Haas F1

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕 Here's a short story, we think Restaurant owners can learn from - It was a beautiful Saturday evening, and Sarah had been looking forward to trying out the new restaurant in town, Bistro Bliss, all week. She arrived at 7:30 PM, excited for a night out with her friends. But as she approached the hostess stand, she was greeted with a long line of people waiting to be seated. "Sorry, it's going to be a 30-minute wait," the hostess said, not even looking up from her clipboard. Sarah was disappointed but decided to wait, thinking it would be worth it. But as the minutes ticked by, the line barely moved. People were getting frustrated, and some even left in disgust. Just then, a group of 10 people walked in, having made a reservation weeks in advance. The hostess immediately seated them, while Sarah and the others continued to wait. Finally, after 45 minutes, Sarah's name was called. But by then, she was hungry and frustrated, and the experience had already been ruined. If only Bistro Bliss had a proper reservation system, Sarah thought, she could have enjoyed a stress-free dinner with her friends. Instead, she left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return. This story highlights the importance of a reservation system in restaurants. By allowing customers to book a table in advance, restaurants can manage their seating and workflow more efficiently, reducing wait times and ensuring a better experience for all customers. It's a simple solution that can make a big difference in customer satisfaction and loyalty. With Dinesurf, you can sign up your restaurant and also build a solid relationship with your clients/customers through our platform. Wrangler National Finals Rodeo: The Largest Cowboy Gathering in the World The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) has been a cornerstone event in Las Vegas since 1985, drawing thousands of rodeo enthusiasts from around the world. This annual 10-day extravaganza not only showcases the best cowboys and cowgirls competing for world championships but also generates significant economic benefits for the city. Visitor Numbers and Economic Impact The economic impact of the NFR on Las Vegas is substantial. A 2019 study by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) estimated that the event generates over $100 million in direct visitor spending annually. This figure includes hotel stays, dining, shopping, entertainment, and transportation. Beyond Direct Spending The economic benefits of the NFR extend beyond direct visitor spending. The event also: Boosts Local Businesses: Local businesses, from restaurants and bars to retail shops and transportation services, experience increased revenue during the NFR. Creates Jobs: The NFR creates temporary jobs in hospitality, security, and event production. Generates Tax Revenue: Increased tourism and spending lead to higher tax revenue for the city and state. The Future of NFR in Las Vegas The enduring partnership between the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Las Vegas ensures that the NFR will continue to be a major economic driver for the city. With the event attracting a growing number of fans each year, its positive impact on the local economy is likely to grow in the years to come. As the NFR continues to evolve, it remains a vital part of Las Vegas's cultural and economic landscape, attracting visitors from all over the world and solidifying its position as a must-attend event. This area of Liability risk is very high in Australia , with very few Insurers in any way interested in offering any coverage. Those that do , have a "laundry list" of Risk Management requirements & operators must have all of these in a form that can be shared etc ............ Why you ask? Read this article below , but know also - that children have been killed in the incorrect use and management of the " Jumping Castles" - viz this article ! https://lnkd.in/g7BgQDSM
WorkSafe Victoria has found scores of safety issues affecting community event amusements such as jumping castles and inflatable rides during its inspections this year.
