Head of Infrastructure Engineering, Airtable (Hiring in SF, NYC)

With the recent launch of Cobuilder (AI based app creation), HyperDB (pull 100M+ records), App Library — There is a lot of exciting work happening at Airtable and we are growing! I am hiring for quite a few roles: 1. Traffic Engineering Tech Lead We are bootstrapping a new team to build 0 to 1 infrastructure to fuel Airtable’s expansion globally. Help set a vision, build the team and solve for a new dynamic traffic control infra for better load balancing, congestion control and route management. 2. EM for Observability (Monitoring and Logging) — preferably NYC but open to SF Metrics, Alerting, Tracing, Events and Logs all fall under the purview of this team. This person will define the vision and grow the team to support Airtable Platform’s reliability story. Opportunity here is to envision a world away from single solution systems to a more outcome focused “how can we drive down detection, triage and mitigation times” — part of this is to build solutions that derive insights from various sources and construct insights and actions that is tailored to solve for the outcome. I am also hiring across the board (both SF and NYC), for engineers who want to build next gen storage platforms, Data Infra, Compute Infra, AI devtools and more! Please DM me or apply via Airtable.com/careers

It's inspiring to see the innovations emerging from Airtable, especially with such a strong focus on building dynamic infrastructure. The roles you mentioned sound pivotal for driving forward the reliability and scalability of the platform. Engaging with such transformative projects must be incredibly rewarding. How do you envision the integration of AI in optimizing traffic management and observability? Looking forward to hearing more about the team's vision.
