🌍 Breaking new ground towards systemic change! The Global Environment Facility has announced the winners of its first Innovation Window, awarding $12.3 million in grants to 7 groundbreaking projects that tackle some of the planet’s most persistent challenges. Among the winners is C3 Labs – Collaboration for Complex Challenges, an innovative initiative led by UNDP in partnership with FAO, UN Environment Programme and the Wageningen University & Research. 💡 So, what is C3 Labs? C3 Labs will pilot innovative, multi-partner collaboration labs in Kenya and Thailand, targeting the critical intersection of food, biodiversity and climate, and providing practical tools and insights to bridge the gap between theories of collaboration and real-world solutions. “Our greatest global challenges are deeply interconnected, yet we often address them in silos. Thanks to the support of the GEF, through C3 we will be able to develop and test a methodology for strengthening more collaborative and systemic approaches for addressing complex challenges’’ said Charles O'Malley, UNDP Senior Systems Change Adviser.
