Factors such as pricing strategies, regulatory compliance, and the geographic availability of data centers become critical considerations. They always should have been. Too often, enterprises consider these “extraneous features,” only to find that their expansion to the Middle East means leaving a point of presence, and then finding there is none. No one bothered to ask.”

I think that this is a good nuanced conclusion. I also haven't seen mass exodus from public cloud but we have been seeing clients looking to optimise the cost of running workloads benefitting from a best of both approach. Azure Stack HCI is a great example of a platform that can support such a hybrid strategy and we are seeing a lot of interest and traction around this approach https://lnkd.in/eyPA8EqW
