You can now create a million S3 buckets per account, but the buckets beyond two thousand will now be charged at a rate of $0.02 per bucket. That’s… I have no words. If you were relying on quotas to prevent bucket sprawl, well you’ll have to change that. https://lnkd.in/ge7_FacW #aws #s3

All the little things left hanging in your AWS accounts can add up and make your bill get pretty big. Setting up automation to clean these up is a simple way to save you money. The example below shows how to setup automation to clean up unused Elastic IP addresses. AWS Elastic IP addresses are static, public IP addresses. Using them works well when you need to access resources from the internet which are sitting inside your AWS account using a known address. The problem is that AWS charges you for each of these. It's only a few $$$s per month for each but it can add up and if they are not being used then it's a total waste of money.
