Digital Innovation & Customer Experience | 15 Fintech Influencers in Vietnam You Have to Know 2018 | Multi-sector| B2B2C | Digital Transformation | Product & Innovation Management

In November, we had a blast visiting the RMIT Campus in District 7, thanks to the invitation from both The Business School and the School of Science, Engineering & Technology. You might wonder, “What could a tech division at a beer company possibly do with a leading educational institution?” The answer is, “Quite a lot!” We've always had a good relationship with RMIT, built on years of collaboration in training and leadership education. Yet the potential is still huge: a company like HEINEKEN creates opportunities for young talents to thrive through internship programs, management trainee (MT) opportunities, and practical projects that allow students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world environments. At the same time, research and partnerships can bring together the best minds of the alumni and the strongest resources of the corporate world, driving both academic and commercial value at the same time. (In short, let’s join forces to do cool sh*t.) We talked about AI, robotics, data, mechatronics—and, of course, beer. We were warmly welcomed by the two esteemed Deans, and ended the day with a campus tour. It's always inspiring to visit for guest lectures, but this time, we truly got to take in the scale and energy of the campus. You see debate groups in action, labs filled with engineers, dark rooms with students writing code like hackers on a mission, and common areas buzzing with the next generation of leaders connecting and engaging in ways you don’t see in many other places. At HEINEKEN Vietnam, we talk about talent, people development, and transformation—and we walk the talk. Stay tuned for more updates as our collaboration unfolds. And hey, working for a beer company is pretty cool, isn’t it? 😉 #heineken #digital #technology #RMIT p/s: still not using AI for writing this one. Trying to keep my humanity intact for a while ;)

It's fantastic to see HEINEKEN Vietnam leveraging academic partnerships to drive innovation and talent development. A great example is IBM's collaboration with universities, which led to a 30% increase in AI project success rates. Such synergies can indeed create substantial value for both academia and industry. P.S. Will this partnership move to the next level on 2025?
