While humans aren't the fastest runners in short sprints compared to animals like cheetahs or pronghorns, we excel in endurance running over long distances. Anthropologists suggest that humans evolved traits like efficient thermoregulation, large circulatory systems, bipedalism, and stereoscopic vision, making us exceptional at persistence hunting—chasing prey until they collapse from exhaustion. This endurance, particularly over distances like 100 kilometers, played a key role in early human survival. Ironically, today’s sedentary lifestyles often leave many struggling to run just 5 kilometers! 😀☺️ #EnduranceRunning #Evolution #PersistenceHunting #HumanAdaptation #SuperPredators #StayActive #Fitness
Humanity are the fastest runners on earth. Fastest over 100 kms that is.This is a reason that we are so successful. This gives us the ability to hunt animals to exhaustion. We have disproportionately large circulatory system , stereoscopic vision, enormous brains for the size of our body, oversized legs. We are literally super-predators. Now the real question is how many of us today could get off the couch and run 5 kms right now!

Here are nine unique and captivating sea creatures: ↳ Goblin Shark - A rare, deep-sea shark with a protruding jaw and pink skin, often called a "living fossil" due to its ancient features. ↳ Dumbo Octopus - Named after the Disney character, it swims using its ear-like fins and lives at extreme depths. ↳ Vampire Squid - Inhabits deep, dark waters, using its cape-like webbing defensively and emitting bioluminescent fluids to deter predators. ↳ Fangtooth Fish - Notorious for its large teeth relative to body size, giving it a fierce appearance. ↳ Leafy Sea Dragon - Resembles seaweed for camouflage and thrives off the Australian coast. ↳ Frilled Shark - Snake-like, with frilled gills and backward-facing teeth, it traps prey in deep waters. ↳ Psychedelic Frogfish - Displays vibrant colors and uses its fins to walk on the seafloor. ↳ Barreleye Fish - Features a transparent head and tubular eyes that rotate to view directly above. ↳ Blue Dragon (Glaucus atlanticus) - A small sea slug that preys on venomous jellyfish, using their venom for defense. These creatures showcase the astonishing variety and adaptability of ocean life.

Hot take fellow brokers; your $100 tarp fees are a joke. It’s closer to 120-130 degrees on that asphalt. Good canvas tarps weigh between 75 and 100 lbs rolled up. Think about that the next time you pay a driver to tarp your load. #treatemright #truckingindustry
Getting a little old to be tarping in 106 degree Houston weather. Off to New Mexico we go.
