People say "Cash is King". But how do they look at cash in their business? In my interview on Behind the Numbers with Dave Bookbinder we discussed common misconceptions about cash flow and how it profoundly affects a business's sales, marketing, and operations. Why don't we have robust systems to manage cash flow effectively? Why is cash flow management only a function in larger companies? Recently, Dominic Roselli, Lucas Jinglov, and I began a finance podcast called Dawgs Talking Deals. Our objective is to educate our peers about the current financial news and data. Finding the right stories is so difficult nowadays because there's so much news, and if someone is just starting out, they're not going to know which stories are important and which aren't. That's where we come in. We talk about the most relevant M&A deals, market news, and what to look out for in the macroeconomic landscape. We felt that this would be helpful for those just beginning to involve themselves in the world of finance, whether they're studying business or pre-med. After a few episodes, I realized that we have also been educating each other during preparations and when we open a segment up for discussion. It's interesting because one of my co-hosts will analyze a company in a way I hadn't thought about before. We all come from different backgrounds, so we each have our own way of looking at the world, and there's so much chemistry between the three of us when we talk about finance and business. I strongly encourage you all to listen, and we appreciate any and all feedback! https://lnkd.in/eenN_J23

𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁 Episode 28 When asked about the least favorite financial instrument to find on the liabilities side of the balance sheet during a restructuring, many of us would say: the promissory note. Historically, extending and restructuring promissory notes in a crisis has been incredibly challenging due to the unanimity required. However, the introduction of the StaRUG (Stabilization and Restructuring Framework) has shifted the landscape. Recently, following Leoni, a second company succeeded in restructuring a promissory note with the aid of StaRUG, the real estate firm Branicks Group AG. In the latest episode of our “Turned Around! The Podcast”, my co-host Michael Hedtstück and I delve deep into this topic. We're honored to have Andreas Ziegenhagen, Germany's leading expert in promissory note restructuring from the law firm Dentons, as our guest. Andreas shares fascinating insights into current cases and what's happening behind the scenes in promissory note restructuring, especially regarding Amend & Extend. For any restrucuturer wanting to stay up-to-date with financial restructuring, this episode of "Turned Around" is indispensable. You can find it on #Spotify, #Apple, and on the homepage of Excelliance Management Partners. Dive into the world of promissory note restructuring with us and stay informed about the latest developments and strategies.
