How to ruin a Developer's or UX's Designer's day. And save the product. Yes, let's explore and use your product. It's obvious...right? uh right? of course! Any child can follow along! Children can think like this until they are trained out of it. Obviously a skit. but how often has it happened in real life? If a person or company has a lot of hubris and doesn't think about and test edge-cases .. well .. at best one can get unexpected results. At worst - a catastrophic failure. ps. I don't know if he is talking to her, or a child off screen, or himself. I was first slightly offended. Then I realized made the skit even more amusing. Developers watching QA test the product. https://lnkd.in/eWZi8W22

Does it bug you when a UI changes constantly? It does for me. Sometimes, the frustration isn’t even about the new design itself—it’s about having to adapt over and over again. Consistency has its perks. Building habits and knowing a system inside out? That’s a quality too. Sure, if there are significant issues, by all means, change it. But changing just for the sake of change? How about... don’t? What are your thoughts on frequent UI changes? P.S. If you agree, consider sharing this with your network ♻️. #bug #Testing #QA

Let's discuss something developers often see as less glamorous, the dark side of development, the black sheep of tasks, the unknown: BUGS 🐞 Finding the issue, investigating it, manipulating it, solving it, testing it, and letting the master (QA) approve it is never fun; it is a burden. But it is an essential skill you have to master as a developer. The truth is, no matter how exciting new features are, unresolved bugs can drive your users straight to your competitors. They trust us to provide seamless service, and when we don't, they won't hesitate to find someone who can, especially when your product is something that people rely on in real-time. So, let's not underestimate the importance of bug fixing. It's not just about cleaning up the code; it's about maintaining trust and ensuring that our product continues to serve the people who rely on it—right on the (parking) spot.
