The packages in the vans were delivered with zero tailpipe emissions, avoiding the pollution associated with gas-powered vehicles. With the goal of having at least 100,000 electric delivery vans on the road by 2030, Amazon aims to eliminate millions of metric tons of carbon emissions each year.
