I'm truly grateful for this incredible chance to visit a sea exploration vessel and learn firsthand how marine research is conducted. A big thank you to Tanoto Foundation for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! The OceanXplorer educational tour, led by OceanX, was a rare and eye-opening experience that deepened my understanding of ocean exploration and conservation. One striking takeaway was learning how much ocean trash—like discarded nets—hampers sea exploration. Not only do these pollutants affect the quality of samples collected, but trash like nets can also get tangled in deep sea vehicles, causing significant disruptions. It's a stark reminder of the impact human activities have on marine ecosystems and the vital research being done to protect them. Let’s all do our part to keep our oceans clean! 🌍 Small actions, like properly disposing of trash or volunteering for beach clean-ups, can make a big difference in protecting marine life and supporting critical ocean exploration efforts. To learn more about OceanX and their impactful missions, be sure to check out their website and social media. Together, we can help ocean explorers achieve their full potential and preserve the seas for generations to come!
The Tanoto Foundation community, including Tanoto Scholars and alumni, recently embarked on an exciting educational tour aboard the OceanXplorer in Singapore! This immersive experience provided participants with a unique opportunity to engage with innovative marine technology and learn about ocean conservation directly from OceanX experts. Onboard, participants explored the daily life of the OceanXplorer, guided by leading experts who shared valuable insights into cutting-edge research. As a result, our community gained a deeper appreciation for ocean exploration and science, recognizing their essential role in protecting our planet. #TanotoFoundation #OceanX

More power to India!
To my shock, there was no record of how many islands India had when I took charge, so I got the survey done via space technology. We have 1300 islands, some nearly the size of Singapore. Building a new Singapore is achievable if we apply ourselve. We have the intent- PM Modi said. https://lnkd.in/gU_4EZ4N

National progress begins with collective self-reflection. By understanding our strengths and addressing our weaknesses, we can safeguard our sovereignty and build a stronger future for our nation. Join us at Arena Techsamana 2024, where we'll tackle critical topics often overlooked in mainstream discussions. https://bit.ly/arenatech25
Dear Connections, On November 23rd, I’ll be sharing my thoughts on Malaysia’s national drone program—an unchecked ambition hindered by a lack of clear vision and objectives. Despite efforts by local companies and valuable research conducted by Malaysian universities, these resources remain underutilized and uncoordinated. Policies and initiatives are often driven by economic factors, not by a strategic commitment to build national power. This approach misses crucial opportunities to establish a resilient supply chain, enable technology transfer, and integrate local defense companies within a cohesive framework. Arena Techsamana, hosted by Techsamana and Aeronerve Institute, will bring together tech leaders, experts, and advocates to openly discuss these issues and explore alternative perspectives. Through case studies and candid dialogue, we aim to foster a new philosophy on technology and advance national tech sovereignty. Register if you’re interested in joining this pivotal conversation https://bit.ly/arenatech25

Last week I met in Brussels some of our #TESCluster colleagues, leveraging a synergies identification initiative 🤝🏼 launched by the CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and which gathered 12 currently ongoing #TES related #EU projects🇪🇺. Although one of the main differences between the 12 projects resides in the plethora of applications 🔬 of the technologies, all of them have common aspects that need to be faced 🎯. Technological challenges of the solutions development 🛠️, economic obstacles 💸 for a future market inclusion or social readiness 👥, to name but a few. The #TESCluster, conformed by ECHO EUproject, BEST-Storage, HYSTORE PROJECT EU and led by ThumbsUp in this year 2024, will support the CINEA on the committed joint actions 📝, leveraging the already gained experience as a good example of a successful clustering initiative 💡. There is strength in unity and this initiative is promising. Let's see how we can move forward together from now on! 🚀 INTERSTORES USES4HEAT Project RESTORE Project SCO2OP-TES project PUSH-IT GeoSmart Project SEHRENE EU CEEGS project Veolia España

Indeed, the future of public transportation is written in the starts 💫 Check out how Rokubun is set to demonstrate its #OSNMA SDK within the #JULIA project and read its #whitepaper here: https://lnkd.in/eTPyCYMZ.
Did you know that the future of public transportation is written in the stars? Most public transport systems now incorporate #GNSS receivers, making them reliant on space technologies for precise geolocation🛰️. This fusion of space technology and terrestrial mobility is transforming how we navigate our cities, making the JULIA Project, funded by EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme, more relevant than ever. Within the framework of the JULIA Project, Rokubun is set to demonstrates its #OSNMA SDK which enables embedded navigation platforms from leveraging the latest state of the art Galileo´s authenticated navigation technology. The essence of the project lies in its aim to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of public transport networks from buses 🚌 and trains🚆 to bicycles🚲. This aim will be achieved through the development of advanced Transit Tech and an innovative Operating System for Public Transport Operators, at its core, #robust navigation and positioning stands crucial. 🌟The power of Rokubun´s OSNMA SDK lies in its ability to decode and process Galileo's OSNMA service even in #harsh urban conditions similar to the ones faced by the majority of public transportation means. This SDK can ensure the robust positioning #required by public transport systems. 📄 Interested to know more about Rokubun´s OSNMA SDK? Download our comprehensive #whitepaper here: https://lnkd.in/eTPyCYMZ.
