Yesterday, Tea Talks w/ Mesha #42 featured the lovely Katie R. of Good News Nutrition. She brought valuable information that I wanted to share will all of you today because we agree that MINDSET and your health as you age are connected. A healthy MINDSET needs a health BODY and vice versa. The mind is the conductor of the body Katie says and she is 100% right.
Good News Nutrition’s primary focus is to make your body more resilient. Without resiliency, we have no fight against the many ‘intruders’ that are disrupting your body and damaging your health. Resiliency is achieved by applying proper support to the body, while reducing the factors that cause the body to ‘bend.’ Our goal is to make but innate activity, as easygoing as possible: eat to heal! Here are a few tips you can use to start to heal your own body...
Remove Stressors, NOT Calories
Remove these known stressors on the body from ALL products (toothpaste, supplements, spices, foods, drinks, etc.…) and watch your overall health improve!
1. Natural flavors – also known as “organic flavors,” natural flavoring” – the marketing people are coming up with really creative ways to sell you natural flavors
2. Maltodextrin, corn, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup
3. Palm Oil, Vegetable Oil, Corn Oil, Canola Oil; Bonus: fluoride
4. Citric acid – derivative of black mold
Gut Healing Smoothie
1 cup of wild blueberries
1 banana*
1 orange*
Sprigs of Herbs Grown Locally – as many as you can find!
1-2 cups of leafy greens (spinach for smoother smoothies – kale for thicker smoothies)
1 piece of ginger

For more protein add organic spirulina powder feel free to use whatever local organic produce you can get i.e. mangoes, papayas, cantaloupe

7. I Cannot Believe it is Not Butter or margarine à use real grassfed butter OR avocado or extra virgin olive oil

Toxic Foods in the body causes us harmful outcomes and people do not read their labels enough she said. Start reading your labels guys. Stick to whole foods 99.9% of the time if you can. Your MIND and BODY will thank you.
