Minority Student Day at Microsoft

On February 9, 2018, Blacks At Microsoft hosted Minority Student Day event at the Microsoft Conference Center. I am so honored to be part of this event every year. Student came from different high schools in the area and participated in various sessions that gave them exposure to the possibilities at Microsoft. I always tell them STEM is not the only option for a career at Microsoft. The best part of the day is when I talk to high school students about STEM possibilities and I see them light up. It is also fun to watch them code and compete with each other as they participate in one hour of coding session. If I touched just but one kid, I did my job.
