Get more inspiration here: http://bit.ly/34j6QIU | By Martha Stewart | Just a little bit of spray. A little bit of glitter and you can turn an ordinary bottle brush tree into something quite extraordinary and we're going to make this for the center of our Victorian Christmas table so now we have our bottle brush tree just sprayed with a spray adhesive now work in a well-ventilated area when you're doing this and then just roll the tree in your most beautiful gold glitter this is real glass glitter it really does look like pure gold when it's encrusted on the ends of these bottle brush trees. Now, if you want to know about these trees, just go to Martha Stewart.com. We have all the information right there and we want to now insert the tree into a golden pot like this. This is an ordinary clay pot that we've sprayed with gold paint and we are going to place the pot on the tree. Okay, that's going to be very nice. So, so easy. Why to this, just put a little line of hot glue from your glue gun right around the rim of the pot There, plenty of glue. Insert your tree. Most important to center it. There that looks very centered. Very nice. Now for decorating. The Dresden tree ornament. They come in sheets and you just cut it apart. Glue two together with a little bit of hot glue right in the center and just put it on the top of the tree. Very pretty and then you can buy things like this that have nice little ornaments that already have stems on them so you can use those on your tree you can just cut those right off of the wire cutter these are very inexpensive ornaments these are called pips and they're sold in clusters of about 10 and again put a little hot glue and just insert it into the tree look really pretty. Work carefully so you don't burn yourself and just as a safety precaution I always warn people to keep a bowl of ice water right next to you in case you got a little hot glue on your fingers and then colored balls of course would be very pretty vintage or new there's a lot of new stuff out there now that is so incredibly beautiful pink like this you can do a pastel tree or mix the pastel with the bright colors and just keep decorating until you end up with a tree like that and take these completed trees over to the table. The table is glorious. We're using a vintage table cloth. Well, it looks vintage but it's not. It's a reversible damisk that is in Turkey red and I love how this looks and look how many trees we've made. These are so gorgeous on the table. The dishes are wear with French Paris porcelain on top. Napkins are folded so that you see the reverse side of the table cloth. Here's the red. Here's the reverse. And they're just simply tied so that they look very luxurious. Candles on the table and brass candlesticks. Gold rimmed glasses. And as favours for everyone. Little cornucopia is a gold paper decorated with a little bit of dressed in gold and some tinsel. And a a sit-down snack or just something to munch on during the dinner dried cranberries. What could be more appropriate and they can just be on the plate and if you have place cards, you could put it underneath the cornucopia right above the plate but there is a festive table and behind on the window, we have a garland of bay and eucalyptus and cedar and little Victorian cards hanging off the ribbon. Everyone unique, these can be just color xeroxes mounted on cardboard backing. That's an idea that we got Melissa Newfield and beautiful old jars filled with berries winter berries bitter sweet presents it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I hope we've inspired you to make some of these holiday crafts a part of your holiday traditions thanks very much for watching we'll see you tomorrow
