Fred Willis Nigro Mushroom Soup

1 box fresh mushrooms caps chopped, 1/4 onion diced, 1 clove garlic diced, 2 cans of chicken broth, 6 cups water, 1/4 cup of cream cheese,1 tsp each red chili powder, salt, thyme,& chives. In a large pot saute in olive oil the mushrooms, onion, garlic, spices for 3 minutes on med heat. Then add the broth & water, and bring to a boil for 15 minutes & stir well. Then add the cream cheese to melt it. Then lower heat to simmer for 30 minutes. FRED WILLIS NIGRO
