So you all get an extra reel this week. I’ll still continue to tweak it forever I’m sure. But it’s done! This house gave me a lot of trouble. But in the end I love it so much. So glad I stuck to it. AND…before everyone tells me it’s too fast and they can’t see the details….I promise a carousel of still photos is coming. Carinne on Instagram: "Day 2! Here is my Beacon Hill. This is my largest and my hardest build. This one took me over a year to complete. The house was very complicated, and I nearly gave up on it. It’s not that I couldn’t figure it out, the wood was just so awful. It did not fit together like it should. But… I made it work!! And I’m really glad I stuck it out. I adore it. I love the details of the rooms….And all the hidden corners and doorways. This house is such a classic looking, grand dollhouse. And I love it. Fun fact.. I’ve named all my houses after flowers or plants. You can find the house names in my highlights. I did give my Beacon Hill a flower name too. But.. the name just never stuck. Always ended up calling it ‘Beacon Hill’. So… I’ve just kept its true name just for myself. Since I'm almost getting to the point where I can start installing the roof, I decided it would be a good time to get my additions built as I don't want to be messing with the house once that heavy roof is on. Using poster board to create my templates, I started with the bath and dining room extensions which will add another 6 inches to each room.
