I've long been a regular at the WatchHouse coffee shops, the first two of which opened in my neighbourhood on Bermondsey Street and Shad Thames. And what with one thing and another, I've been spending even more time than usual in Bermondsey over the past few months. Aesthetics are a pretty subjective notion. Everyone has their favorite color, patterns, textures and so on. That being said, it’s very easy to find designs that probably needed a bit more time on the drawing board. You have probably run into a billboard or an item from Ikea that makes you wonder what they were thinking!

Next year I want to open a coffee shop. Just a small, cute coffee shop with used books, comfy seats, plants everywhere and positive quotes about life everywhere.. attached to Flourish in the same building that I OWN. I just want a place you can come and get coffee, tea, maybe a vegan baked good or treat and have a talk with an old friend, do a little work on your computer or have a little study group.. Just dreaming out loud....
