The Agora Awards 2019 competition was hosted by free-to-use photography app Agora on November 6th and received over 130,000 submissions from 193 countries.

Modern communication tools foster connections among like-minded people. Group text messaging is particularly effective. By simply texting a keyword to a short number, individuals can subscribe to receive updates about the causes they care about. SMS leveraged to this effect can serve as a channel not only to keep like-minded individuals in the know, but to help them achieve their objectives.
