Blue diamonds

This gemstone could easily be mistaken for a blue sapphire but in fact it is one of the most intensely coloured blue diamonds ever found. Small in stature at .51cts but big on colour it was originally featured in Harvey Harris' Fancy Color Diamonds (released in 1994) photography by Tino Hammid.

Blue diamond's can appear as a Faint Blue, Very Light Blue, Light Blue, Fancy Light Blue, Fancy Blue, Fancy Deep Blue, and Fancy Vivid Blue. In the event of a secondary hue, a Fancy Dark intensity is also possible.
