Junk couture

Junk Kouture, powered by RTÉ and supported by Creative Ireland, have revealed this year's grand final line-up.

It's fun and easy to make art out of paint chips or swatches! For a recent Home Show, I made a paint mannequin from a dress form and several paint decks!

Davidov Imagined a rebellious figure invading the exclusive ballrooms of the Versailles Palace. Dress codes familiar from ball gowns-the corset, the Rococo silhouette, and haute couture techniques-are used here as a form of camouflage providing access to the ball. The gown, however, is made of used, torn jeans that have been disassembled and repurposed.
