We recently stayed for a couple of weeks just outside Weymouth in Dorset, and this gave us time to have a good look round the town. The Old Harbour in particular, with its wonderful Georgian buildings on the waterfront, is quite spectacular.

Although just a fifteen minute walk from my house, Weymouth Harbour is a location I normally overlook. However, on this morning what had started off fairly flat, turned into one of the most impressive displays of sunrise colour I've seen in years.
