My process: I start by drawing out design on plywood, cut with a jigsaw, sand edges and surface, paint, drill holes, coil wire for hanging, add a bow (if applicable), and spray with a clear protectant to prevent chipping, fading, peeling, and yellowing. Disclaimers: Although your door hanger will be sealed heavily with a protectant spray, I do not advise you to leave door hanger in rain, high winds, or snow. I do advise you to take the door hanger down if weather is expected. If your door hanger comes with a bow (not all door hangers have a bow, please refer to the photos): Bows may vary from photos due to supply of ribbon at the time of purchase. I will ensure that each bow coordinates with the door hanger! Beads are wood and painted to match theme of door hanger.
