This Victorian gold filled buckle has been sitting on my desk for 8 years. It is elegantly designed with a scroll and floral motif. I have wanted to make this into a bracelet but just couldn't find the time. I finally experimented with the leather. I chose a very supple leather that will probably darken from wearing and the oils in your skin giving it natural marks. For my first leather bracelet, I am happy with how it came out. The holes are not perfectly aligned but they look pretty good. What is even nicer about it, there has been no modification to the piece so you can still make it into a real belt buckle. Dimensions: 3" wide buckle / 1.75" wide leather Wrist Size: Holes are at 6.25 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.25 Clasp: Belt Buckle Metal: Gold Filled Markings: none Circa: Mid 1800's Condition Rating: 8 ( the metal has some slight discoloration and patina due to age) Due to the nature of this product, any applied liquids or oils will change the color of the leather.
