Ethiopian opal, Herkimer diamond & iolite choker. Perfect for summer as this stone looks like it has glitter inside. The glitter effect is visible in sunlight and especially indirect/indoor light. The opal also happens to be shaped like Florida 🙂 The choker is 14.5 inches with a 3 inch drop. It clasps in the front where there is a small iolite accent. The opal is hanging below a chain of Herkimer diamonds that extends up the chain and transitions to iolite. Opals are very difficult to photograph, the photos don't do the stones justice! Real opals are often hard to find and very expensive. I get the stones direct from the mines in Australia and Ethiopia and my husband cuts and polishes them before I use them to create each original piece of jewelry. This keeps costs down because everyone deserves to have a beautiful opal!
