Brittany riding Apparel New York was a popular store for the Manhattan Equestrian scene in the 1920s - thru 1970s and part of the Equine Epicenter of New York along with H Kauffman & sons, which purchased interest in this brand in the late 1970s. Wool knit fabric in a light sage color, double button sides with hidden zipper, small side hip pockets , wide banded high waist with belt loops, unlined, flare leg, tonal fabric knee patches, single button calf. These breeches are in new condition but there appears to be a little sun damage to the back of the breeches along the seam (see pics); I am not sure if they were ever actually worn. Made in USA, no marked size but fits like a size 24, 1940s.
