All rings will have a 1/2" wide Hand Hammered Band as pictured) that will keep the ring from spinning around your finger, holding the large stone on top of your hand always visible! Each ring will be crafted with the same bezel as the one pictured. Check out our signature tiny moose stamp on the back with "sterling" stamp!(pic) Turquoise is the December Birthstone. To create our rings, we hand cut and hand polish the stone, then create the custom bezel(pic) to fit the hand cut and polished stone. The band of the ring is made from reclaimed sterling silver.(process below) Stone Sizes: (to give yourself an idea of how large the ring will be simply cut out a template of paper of the size indicated and lay it on your finger(s). Version A: 1 1/8" x 2 3/8" x 1/4" thick. Version B: 1 1/4" x 2 1/16" x 3/16" thick. Version C: 15/16 " x 1 9/16" x 3/16" thick. Version D: 5/8" x 2 1/16" x 1/4" thick. Version E: 1 1/8" x 1 9/16" x 1/4" thick Version F: 1 1/4" x 1 9/16" x 1/4" thick. Version G: 7/8" x 1 9/16" x 1/4" thick. Version H: 1 1/8" x 1 3/4" x 1/4" thick Since these are custom rings, if you decide to return it there will be a handling listing fee applied with the credit. All rings will weigh about 30 grams.(about 1 ounce), slightly more or less depending on size. The Pure Sterling Silver band was upcycled, using the technique below: Each of the rings are 100% handmade one at a time in our little shop in the White Mountains in Arizona. Reclaimed Sterling Silver Process: To reclaim the metal in this ring we melt scrap sterling silver left after our other jewelry making. We cast it into ingots that are rolled through a hand rolling mill to create square wire or flat sheets. That wire or sheet is cut to size and hand shaped using hammers and anvils. Designs are carved for rings, pendants and bracelets, but mostly we cast ingots and reshape into wire or sheet stock to make other beautiful one of a kind creations and original jewelry pieces. One thing about reclaimed sterling is that it gives a more rustic look as there is always more impurities in the mix than commercially purchased silver sheet and wire. We do add back some 999 fine pure silver to get the purity to 925 standards, but the look will be less glitzy than its' commercially produced cousin. If you want that extra shiny glitzy look this piece of jewelry is not for you, it will always look more handmade than factory made jewelry The big manufacturers have more sophisticated equipment that can control the process more precisely.
