OVERVIEW: Here's a c1970 bronze or brass bracelet by Maria & Ryszard Kulm of Poznan, Poland. This dates from their earliest period of jewelry design, 1965-76, during which they produced sculptral abstract pieces in metals such as copper and bronze (they turned to silver in 1976). This bracelet features a wide band with a hand-scored texture. At the center is an applied abstract composition made of flat wire that seems to interesct & meld in different places. A stunning & uncommon example of Polish artist jewelry. Please note the bracelet is a large wrist size. Last photos show examples of the artists' work from a wonderful archival website--I can't post a link in eBay listings, but google maria ryszard kulm cyryl ! MARKS: exterior signed M. & R. KULM MET.
