Recycled book paper origami earrings These Japanese earrings, called "KUSUDAMA"* are made with: * recycled paper (book pages), * ear hooks (H 4 cm) in surgical steel (with silicone pushers). Meticulously folded by me, this paper is protected by several layers of varnish to provide maximum resistance to humidity (don't swim with it though). Each model is unique and requires 12 sheets of paper (3X3cm). The patterns vary depending on the cutting of the paper. I do not use any glue to make this KUSUDAMA*. These earrings are very light and comfortable to wear. The metal I use is guaranteed to meet European standards, lead-free, nickel-free and cadmium-free. Carefully packaged, each pair of earrings is delivered to you in an organza gift bag. Your order will be sent by tracked letter. Is this for a gift? I can send your order directly to the recipient, with a little personalized message (at no extra charge). Tips: Protect your jewelry from moisture and remove it when going to bed. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. FREE DELIVERY from 50€ purchase *KUSUDAMA The term "kusudama" comes from Japan. It means "ball" and "medicine". Originally, kusudamas were made from herbs or flowers. Hung in homes, they were used to hold incense, spices or medicinal herbs. Today, to make kusudamas, we use paper that we fold (this is the art of origami). Kusudamas are delicate decorative elements to place or hang.
