The dowels are 36" so the canopy is 3 ft wide. You can customize the hanging height by tying the twine long or short. I have mine hanging about 6" from the ceiling in the center and about 18" on the sides to make a tent shape. * What is included with the canopy? The canopy includes the dowels, twine and hooks needed to hang it. * Can the canopy be adjusted to fit different bed sizes? Yes! The hanging height and hook placement can be adjusted to fit your bed. The canopy can hang over the head of a king/queen/full/bed or over the the length of a twin/ twin XL. You can tie the twine longer to have the canopy hang further down and vise versa. * What kind of lights do you offer? The optional lights that I offer are silver wire curtain lights in "warm white" with a USB plug in. They simply hook onto the center dowel and are easily removable. * Can I add my own lights? Yes! You can easily add your own lights by simply draping them over the canopy after the canopy is set up. * What type of fabric do you use? Are other colors available? The fabric is a polyester mesh tulle made partially from recycled water bottles. It does not fray and can easily be cut. We only offer white at this time. * How do I hang the canopy?
