Authentic c1900-1910 Edwardian Dress Hat. (Gibson Girl Style). * listing is for hat only, Edwardian clothing is sold separately. FEATURES: A lovely Edwardian women's hat from the early 1900's. Mocha brown velvet with shades of chocolate brown and black. There are several little feather trumpets arranged along the brim, and embellished with oversized autumn theme embroidery. Floppy brim style, and crown is stitched to fold over on one side. *The hat does have some notable issues and could use some TLC, (refer to condition section below for details) however this would make a great hat for a dedicated collector! MEASUREMENTS: Crown 4.5" Brim 2.5-4.5" width 17" measurement around inside 22" CONDITION: pre-owned antique condition. NOTABLE ISSUES: substantial balding within the velvet fabric and silk lining underneath. shredding among the silk ribbon bow. damage to some of the feathers. (refer to the last photo for close-up of notable issues). Could use re-shaping (especially a long outside edges) could likely be gently steamed.
