Use this 10 frame math printable for playing math games, and visually teaching addition for early math. This helps kids with mental math and can be used with any math curriculum or on it's own! We like to roll two dice to make random addition equations, and you can get 2, 10 sided dice if you prefer to add larger numbers. I also recommend using a deck of cards! Simply remove any face cards. For example, if you want to practice adding onto 4, have your child turn over a card from the pile to add to 4! First have them show you the numbers on 2 separate 10 frames, and then physically move your blocks to fill a 10 frame and see what's left over on the other. For example, this will help their brains visually see 8+4 is the same as 10+2. Your PDF is made to print on 8.5'' X 11'' paper, and I recommend double checking your print preview settings to make sure it looks correct before printing. Print out on high quality white paper or card stock, and I recommend laminating or placing inside of a plastic page protector. I'd love to see you using these with your littles!
