Please Note: To enhance the beauty and durability of your table, we fill knots to stabilize them, smooth out all imperfections, and sand each surface to a buttery smooth finish. Then we stain the tables in the color of your choosing. We then apply 2 coats of General Finishes water-based polyurethane to the surface, providing an excellent seal and a visually pleasing appearance. General Finishes is twice the cost of Polyacrylic from the big box stores. We have found General Finishes provide better protection than any other finish. It is applied with a Fuji sprayer that provides a uniform finish with no brush marks.
