This beautiful brooch designed by Ermani Bulatti in the 1970s/1980s is a perfect example of the quality and workmanship of Bulatti pieces; wearable art for sure. The Maple Spinners are applied as they would be found in nature, adding tremendous interest, shadow, and dimensionality to the piece. Sharing the main focal interest is a huge faceted crystal. A skirt of snake chains flows from an Architectural/Art Deco Egyptian Lily Pad. Those tendrils are accented with faceted crystals An ideal piece for display or wear. Definitely a head-turner.
