The hoops are plated with a glossy silver alloy plated over brass. They are glossy because they're rack plated. This means that the pieces are hand hung so they receive the optimal amount of coverage. The half circles are plated with an antique silver alloy and black oxidized brass. This earring comes in two different styles as follows: 1) Earring with Post - Earring Length is 1 5/8" from the post down. 2) Earring with Ear Wire - Earring Length is 1 3/4" from the Ear Wire down The sculptured ear wires are plated with a silver alloy and come with rubber back stoppers. The textured post or push back is plated with 18 K gold over brass. All metals used are lead safe.
