Our classic, shapely Victorian corset, constructed to fit you in the brocade color of your choice. The c. 1880 Alice is designed to be worn with the long, close-fitting cuirasse bodices of the 1880s. The front panels allow a generous fullness in the bust and hips while the waist is nipped in. This accentuates the extreme curves required of this era. Patterned for the modern body and without tight lacing, we are still able to achieve this pronounced curviness. For the convenience of donning the corset by yourself we have included a center front opening spoon busk closure. The spoon busk is made of steel and the lower portion is 2.5" wide and shaped to give the wearer extra control holding in the waist and lower torso. There is double-boning throughout this corset: the front seams with 1/4" spiral bones, the straighter, taller back with 5/16" steel bones. Features include: Ø Center back lacing Ø Center front spoon busk opening Available in a variety of colors of brocade coutil. This elegant corset material features an all-over design of beautiful roses. Corset shown on model is "Dusty Rose".
