A fabulous vintage 1969 designer hat 'Meteor 15' by artisan hat makers Herbert Johnson of Bond Street London. Made from a black silk plush fabric, it features a wide brim and a high crease. The black band is rib corded and has a flat bow on the left side. The lining is ivory satin and is gathered at the crown. Rare 1920s wide-brim horsehair cloche
The 20s cloche is an exquisite design and the hats are becoming quite rare. Even rarer is the wide brimmed cloche. This one is perfection. Made of black hose hair and in beautiful condition. It flaps down in all the right places, hugs the back neck and is trimmed with black tulle at the edges. Finished with a fabulous large orange velvet flower and baubles and a black velvet ribbon.
