ORGANIZE #6...
When we lived in California, there was a business right as you are going into San Diego we literally loved... The woman had bought about five acres with this old red barn and a much smaller gray weathered wood barn... She turned the red barn into a gift store with the most beautiful antiques and crafts and the gray barn into a home made soap store... Going into the red barn was a sunflower maze and for the rest of the land, fields of flowers burst forth in every bit of ground available... She had a little bistro style cafe tucked into the blooms and two cats that called this their home... On one Saturday every June she would hold a Fairy Festival just before her flower harvest where little girls could visit in their little fairy outfits... I dressed Bud "against his will" as a little Robin Hood Archer with his little buddies Kelsie and Alyssa as the prettiest little fairies with their tiniest little wings and wands... They were all four maybe five years old at the time... She had live Celtic music and bubble blowers and ribbon twirlers and such then at noon she held a fairy parade for all the little children to March through her rows of flowers... It was truly a child's fairy tale come true... If I had ever wanted a business of my own, this would have been the one except me being me... I would have included a little "miniature" farm filled with little "miniature" farm animals and tried to plant long lasting flowers to stay in bloom throughout the spring and summer even fading into fall... During the winter months, a wonderland of lights based on a forest wildlife theme to serve as an attraction just after the fall harvest until time to plant in the spring...
