Hotlines working in Project Arachnid grows to 15

Collaborating with analysts from around the world strengthens Arachnid’s abilities while helping to address the backlog of images suspected to be child sexual abuse material.

Helping families, protecting children

Our Support Services team received 4,300+ requests for help from youth and families. To help streamline support, we updated our resource, NeedHelpNow.ca.

Alerts focus on platforms

We released three Cybertip.ca Alerts, focusing on Omegle, Wizz, and Discord. Each of these platforms were increasingly reported to Cybertip.ca because of the harm youth experienced on them.

Presentation to UN Member States in Vienna

Governments and financial institutions came together with a call to action to step up the battle against the global epidemic of online child sexual abuse material.

The Horse

If social media platforms aren’t regulated, devices are Trojan Horses that can give offenders direct, 24–7 access to children in their homes, bedrooms, and schools.

Reflections from survivors and how professionals can learn from their work

This report explores how advocacy impacts child sexual abuse material survivors. A tandem resource assists professionals who work with survivors.
