Life can bring unexpected challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck. If you're carrying a heavy weight, seeking peace, or just trying to make sense of things, remember: you don’t have to face this alone. Reaching out is courageous, and I deeply respect the strength it takes. As a BIPOC therapist and first-generation immigrant, I connect with the complexities of navigating multiple worlds and the unique experiences that shape our lives. Together, we’ll create a safe, compassionate space to explore what feels right—whether that’s processing trauma, managing stress, or simply having someone to listen and support you.

Sometimes you need to sit before you can rise! Life can be challenging and making sense of those challenges is difficult especially if you have been stuck for a long time. Oftentimes, we don't pause long enough to truly understand why we are struggling. I want to give you the chance to sit, talk, learn, and then apply what you have discovered to your life. The key to my practice is providing a space where clients feel safe to share, learn and develop strategies to move them forward.

Life as a teen or young adult is like trying to juggle a bunch of flaming swords: school, relationships, social media, family drama, figuring out who you are… it can get overwhelming pretty fast. If you’re reading this, it’s probably because something feels off. Maybe you're stuck in your head with anxiety, feeling like you just can't get out of your own way. Maybe you’re struggling with self-doubt, or juggling ADHD, depression, or relationship chaos. The truth is, you're not broken, you're just navigating a really tough chapter in your life, and sometimes it takes a little help to move through it. That’s where I come in.

Do you want to see changes in your life, but don't know what to do next? Do the same issues or patterns come up for you again and again? As we go through life, we face challenges that can impact us and our personal growth going forward. Sometimes the things we have been doing in the past to cope and get by don't seem to work anymore, or don't have the same effect as they did before. We need to find new ways of thinking and behaving to readjust, cope, and heal from the past so we can manage the challenges ahead of us. Let’s team up together to take control of your story and make the changes you would like to see in your life.

Difficult emotions, unresolved experiences and life challenges are often a way of telling us something. Stop. Slow down. They also provide a sacred opportunity to connect with your values, needs, inner wisdom and understanding of the self. In our work together, compassion, curiosity, empowerment and reflection are used to provide an opportunity where you can feel safe, heard and understood. I use a blend of therapeutic modalities to best fit your therapeutic needs.

There’s a lot that holds us back from trying therapy. You may think you need a serious problem to see a therapist. But therapy is for everyone because, as humans, we experience sadness, grief, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. The only qualification to go to therapy is to be human. You may ask, why not talk to a friend? Because friends aren’t trained to listen in a way that allows insights to emerge, wounds to open up, and traumas to be felt and released. Going to therapy is an act of self-love, an investment in your human potential and mental well-being.

Most of us have felt stuck - as though we are simply getting by doing the things we've always done. Usually those behaviours - thoughts, feelings, and actions - developed because, at some point in our lives, they were useful! They helped us to survive situations that seemed unconquerable at the time. Now these same behaviours may lead to isolation, emptiness, worry, or avoidance, and we feel uncertain how to change them. Having an opportunity to observe those behaviours, without judgement, can help us understand what we want out of life, and can lead us towards a sense of fulfillment and meaning.

As a parent, do you often ask yourself how you could do things differently, feeling guilty or ashamed about the way you manage family situations? Struggling with cycles of negative emotion can leave you feeling alone, anxious, and depressed. Perhaps you feel disconnected from yourself, your partner, and/or your children, and you wish your family dynamic could come together more easily. Practicing acceptance and establishing emotional safety may seem like impossible feats, but know that there is a way.

Hi, I am invested in working with clients as they embark on a path of self-discovery that inspires meaningful growth. Although there are many reasons to seek therapy, understanding the complexity and interconnectedness of one's thoughts, emotions, and actions, as well as one’s past and present experiences, can bring clarity and healing in the moment, and direction for the future. This insight can be invaluable in times of crisis or transition and can be used to foster positive changes and create new patterns. I look forward to going with you on this journey of exploring your story, strengths, and potential.

Sometimes life hurts and we are uncertain how to move forward. Trauma, grief, life transitions, difficult relationships, and past experiences often leave us searching for healing and hope. We don’t want to do this work alone, and yet we don’t always know where to turn. In the therapeutic relationship you will be heard and seen. In my practice I use a holistic, person-centred approach where together we will build a respectful relationship that allows you to gain new skills, acquire knowledge that helps bring about change, and work toward your personal goals.
