Ice fisherman dies after falling through ice on UTV in Wisconsin
WESTFIELD, Wis. (WFRV) – An ice fisherman died Monday morning after falling through the ice while riding a UTV on Lawrence Lake in Marquette County.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 10 a.m. for a report of a fisherman who had gone through the ice. Despite rescue and revival efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased,” the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office shared on social media.
The sheriff’s office also issued a safety reminder, urging the public to avoid venturing onto frozen lakes or rivers unless the ice has been confirmed to be thick enough for safe activity.
