Finally, I'm really excited to announce that our documentary "Escaping the Noise", the story behind our epic 4-day road trip in 5 electric vehicles from Johannesburg through Gqeberha to Cape Town, is ready for its premiere! I invite you to find 20 mins to watch this and experience the highs and lows of our trip, some of the challenges we had to overcome, and the camaraderie we built along the way. Pro Tip: the bigger the screen, the better the experience 😀 The production was professionally put together by our team from Accenture Song - thanks to Jono and Frank. Some quick stats taken from one of the Electric Vehicles: Total distance driven: 2,342km Total energy used: 328kWh Total energy costs: R 2,142 Average cost/km (EV): R 0.91 (charging only from public chargers) Compare that to a petrol car equivalent that would have used 7 litres/100kms: Total fuel costs: R 3,442 Average cost/km (ICE): R1.47 The team is already looking forward to the next trip! #escapingthenoise #NEVRoadTrip #SAAutoWeek #electricvehicles #sustainablemobility Accenture Accenture in South Africa https://lnkd.in/dbPNjwxJ
