Saiju Govinda Kurup (born 12 March 1979) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and occasionally in Tamil cinema . He is credited as Anirudh in Tamil movies. He debuted in Mayookham (2005) by Hariharan . As of June 2021, he has starred in over 100 films as the main lead, comedian actor and supporting role.
Kurup married Anupama on 12 February 2005. The couple have a daughter and a son.[ 1]
Case and Court Order [ edit ]
The controversy surrounding actor Saiju Kurup centers on the release of the film Porattu_Nadakam_(film) , which has been Initially barred from release due to allegations of copyright infringement.the court later allowed its theatrical screening after the defendants provided monetary security. a complaint was filed against Kurup and the makers of the film by Akhil Dev and writer Viviyn Radhakrishnan, claiming unauthorized use of his work. The issue has sparked significant debate in Malayalam Film Industry The court order, dated October 26, 2024, explicitly restrains defendants from engaging in any activities related to the sale, transfer, or assignment of intellectual property rights associated with the film Porattu Nadakam to third parties.[ 2]
