Name?
[edit]Is his name actually that long? savidan(talk) (e@) 23:28, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Yes, it is a common sight for Malay Rulers have long names but they will mostly be remembered by their given names especially to those who are well connected and considered as friends to the Royal Families. It is also a custom that they were given names and dignified-equivalent names according to the Islamic religion (observe:Muktafibillah etc) to reflect and as a hope that they will become a just and wise ruler in the future.

Fair use rationale for Image:Mizanagong.jpg
[edit]Image:Mizanagong.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Too many precise dates
[edit]The article would be improved by removing over-wikification, for instance, on every date and repetition of wiki links for gvrnmnt bodies and individuals. Also, I don't think every date of every appointment needs to be indicated; the year should be enough. Have done some copy editing for this, but more is needed.--Parkwells (talk) 17:45, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Can someone explain to me why the image of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has been removed?
--77.49.58.110 (talk) 21:45, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
Look above, someone explained that the picture may not be fair use BoomBoomPoo (talk) 07:30, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
WikiProject Australia???
[edit]Why is this classified under wikiProject Australia? All he did was study there for a few years. If he were to be placed under wikiProject Australia, he might as well be placed under wikiProject England too. I just think that studying a few years in Australia is not notable enough to be placed under the scope of wikiProject Australia. BoomBoomPoo (talk) 07:36, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is collaborative in nature. If the folks at WikiProject Australia feel that it is an article they want to improve, then it should be welcomed by all. (Of course, we shouldn't go overboard and start adding completely unrelated Wikiprojects.) - Yk3 talk · contrib 16:31, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
