Warning users for SPI

[edit]

Generally, we don't warn editors that they are subject to SPI unless there's a good reason to. In this case in particular, the clerks/CUs have recommended not notifying this particular editor even after they've been blocked. Best, voorts (talk/contributions) 18:20, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I did not know they were blocked already. Thank you for letting me know. HorrorLover555 (talk) 03:12, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:21, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Festival Tour 2025

[edit]

I saw how you deleted Till Lindemann's festival tour and how you wrote that festivals are not a tour. But Till Lindeman himself EXPLICITLY described this festival tour as a TOUR. You can see it in Instergram posts and on his website. He is touring the festivals. What you are doing is nothing but censorship just because it doesn't fit your definition. You're destroying the awareness of musicians' touring history. ClementoPio1. (talk) 18:15, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, your behavior is absolutely out of line to delete an article that was written based on sources about an existing thing.   ClementoPio1. (talk) 18:19, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@ClementoPio1.: Instagram is not a reliable source. See WP:RSPINSTAGRAM. Please use a secondary source or a news source that proves that he said that. HorrorLover555 (talk) 19:14, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What you are doing is nothing but censorship just because it doesn't fit your definition. @ClementoPio1.: This is not about my personal view, this is about Wikipedia policies and guidelines that I am following, so you are assuming bad faith on my part. But please do not falsely accuse me of censorship and cast false aspersions. In the case of the festivals that you claim are part of a "tour", did you bother to even read WP:NTOUR? I had clearly stated that before I had to redirect the article because it was poorly sourced. HorrorLover555 (talk) 19:23, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
