Deletion discussion about Fazle Hasan Shishir

[edit]

Hello UzbukUdash, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Fazle Hasan Shishir, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fazle Hasan Shishir.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|SafariScribe}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

CS1 error on World Rivers Day

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page World Rivers Day, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on World Rivers Day requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://dailyasianage.com/news/313184/rivers-and-environment-are-threatened-by-encroachment-and-pollution. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks for your contributions to Zakir Hossain Raju (professor). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because of the large number of references that do not pass WP:SIRS. I will submit this to ARCH review for you. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. UtherSRG (talk) 14:33, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

yeah, understood, One of this book Bangladesh Cinema and National Identity: In Search of the Modern?!!is cited in many films related article under his name that are coming when referred. BTW thanks . UzbukUdash (talk) 14:39, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In general, it is a good idea to submit drafts for review and not move them into main article space yourself, even when you have the right and privilege to do so. Getting a review from someone disconnected from the subject helps weed out parts of the draft that should be improved before inclusion in the encyclopedia. - UtherSRG (talk) 14:47, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AFDs

[edit]

Hello, UzbukUdash,

AFD deletion discussions are a DISCUSSION, not a vote. Please do not simply write "Keep" or "Delete", present your argument based on Wikipedia policy and guidelines and your evaluation of the article and its sources. It really helps if you do your own search for additional sources to support this article. Opinions expressed in one word, like "DELETE" will be ignored by the discussion closer. Liz Read!
