Refund policy

Return Policies:

1. Returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery for store credit ONLY

2. Returned items must be in unused, resalable condition with all original packaging intact and price tags attached. When wanting to do a return, You must request a return by emailing info@thebettergeneration.com with your order number and why you are wanting the return. 

If you do not get approved for a return but choose to return it anyway, you will not receive a refund.

For footwear, the return will be denied if the shoe box has been used as the shipping box. Unfortunately, we cannot provide return shipping services except in the event of an order error on our part.

3. We will not accept any returns delivered to us without any prior communication and written agreement between us and the customer. Please make sure all items to be returned are properly packaged and traceable with a proper tracking number. Once the returned items have been inspected and confirmed, a full refund will be issued to the customer excluding the original shipping cost. 

4. We have the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements. 

5. Refunds are processed within 14 days after we receive the return merchandise and will be given in the original form of payment, excluding the original shipping costs.

6. Any product with a set release date, All Quick Strike (QS), Limited Edition, Sale Items, Candles, and Brand Collaboration products are FINAL SALE (no returns or no exchanges). All EQL and Raffle releases are FINAL SALE

7. We will not accept returns in quantities of 3 or more of the same product. 

8. If you return your order any discount codes used on the order will be forfeited.

FINAL SALE POLICIES

Any product with a set release date, All Quick Strike (QS), Limited Edition, Sale Items, Candles, and Brand Collaboration products are FINAL SALE. No cancellations will be accepted and no exceptions will be made.

 

Exchange Policies:

1. Exchanges are allowed for NON-Final Sale items. Any item on sale is final sale and no changes or returns will be allowed. If you exchange your order any discount codes used on the order will be forfeited.

Damaged Boxes - The Better Generation will only refund the cost of shipping if customer receives a damaged box of any kind with images sent to info@thebettergeneration.com. If this does not suffice, the customer is able to file a claim with the shipper. We at The Better Generation are not responsible for mishandling during shipping.

Damaged/Defective Product - If a customer receives severely damaged/defective product such as; cuts, tears, discoloration, etc. we will offer a free return and a full refund for the order, excluding shipping. If a customer receives product with minimal issues such as: tattered yarn, suede scratches, removable marks etc. we will only offer refund on shipping. If this does not suffice, we will inform you to contact the manufacture to handle the issue. All product images must be sent to info@thebettergeneration.com

Cancellation Policy:

Customers may REQUEST a cancellation and refund within 12 hours of purchasing. If the product is not yet been fulfilled for NON-Final Sale items. 

During Exclusive Releases, any product with a set release date, All Quick Strike (QS), Limited Edition, Sale Items, Candles, and Brand Collaboration products are FINAL SALE. No cancellations will be accepted and no exceptions will be made.

When requesting a cancellation and refund of an order, your shipping cost will AUTOMATICALLY be kept as a restock fee. If the order had free shipping, the restocking fee will be 3% of the order total.

Any orders that are "Refused" or "Returned to Sender" will get only the price of the product refunded. All shipping fees and taxes will be kept by The Better Generation.

In-Store Pick Up Cancellations

If a local pick up order is not picked up within 72 hours the order will be cancelled and refunded. If your order gets cancelled or if you request a cancellation, any discount codes used on the order will be forfeited. Also a 3% restocking fee will be applied to any orders not picked up within the given time window. 

CANDLE SHIPMENT REFUSAL

Any candle order that is refused by the customer and shipped back to The Better Generation will be charged 50% of the initial candle price. **This is due to the potential damage that can occur during shipping**
