The 2023 Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors season was their 30th season in existence, and the 29rd consecutive season in the K League 1. In addition to the league, the club competed in the 2023 Korean FA Cup and in the 2023–24 AFC Champions League.

The season's manager is Kim Sang-sik, who brought a more defensive approach in Jeonbuk matches ever since signing for them. Despite notable departures, the club have plenty of experienced players in this season's squad, from national team players to veterans with valuable experience after years playing either on South Korea or overseas.[1]
